Tabby is a UAE-headquartered fintech that began as a buy-now-pay-later provider and now holds two Central Bank of the UAE licences. Its Tabby Card splits purchases into four interest-free payments, while Tabby Cash — launched on a Stored Value Facility (e-money) licence — offers a fee-free spending account with a virtual IBAN, free local transfers and a cashback Visa card. Tabby is not a bank: it issues prepaid and instalment products rather than credit cards or deposit accounts, and neither product carries a credit line or an overdraft.
