# Air Arabia AirRewards

Source: https://kredit.ae/loyalty/air-arabia-airrewards

Air Arabia's fixed-value loyalty programme, earned through flying, a UAE co-branded card, and selected bank-rewards transfers.

AirRewards is unusually simple for an airline programme: Air Arabia publishes a fixed redemption value, so the calculator does not need to estimate an average award-flight return.

UAE residents can earn on eligible Air Arabia bookings, use the RAKBANK Air Arabia co-branded card, or transfer from supported Emirates NBD reward balances.

## How it works

AirRewards members earn points on eligible Air Arabia flights, add-ons and programme partners. Points can be used toward eligible Air Arabia fares and ancillary services, including a cash-and-points booking when the balance does not cover the full amount.

The fixed redemption rate makes comparison easier than with conventional airline miles. Taxes and fees still remain payable, and Air Arabia's terms set a minimum balance for flight and baggage redemptions.

## Tiers

- **RAKBANK Air Arabia Platinum** — minimum salary AED 5,000. 20,000 AirRewards welcome bonus and a complimentary annual return-ticket benefit, subject to current terms

## Redemption

Air Arabia publishes a fixed relationship between AirRewards and US dollars. Kredit converts that official figure to AED using the currency peg, so this method is labelled issuer-fixed rather than a market estimate.

AirRewards currently expire 24 months after the date they are earned. The terms also state a minimum 3,000-point balance for flight and baggage redemptions; check the live booking for taxes, fees and eligible add-ons.

## Travel angle

AirRewards is most relevant for UAE residents who use Air Arabia from Sharjah or the airline's other regional hubs. Its fixed value makes it easier to compare points with the live cash fare, but the programme is less flexible than a transferable currency.

## Why AirRewards is easier to value

### The redemption value is fixed

Air Arabia publishes the points-to-dollar relationship, so Kredit can convert it to AED without applying a subjective flight benchmark.

### Several UAE earning routes

AirRewards can come from Air Arabia activity, the RAKBANK co-brand, ENBD Plus Points and ENBD Voyager Miles.

### The trade-off is a narrower use case

The fixed value is predictable, but redemptions remain tied to eligible Air Arabia flights and add-ons rather than a broad airline alliance.
