FAB Rewards is First Abu Dhabi Bank's points programme. Most FAB credit cards earn it, alongside selected FAB debit cards, accounts and loans. FAB's own redemption examples price 334 FAB Rewards at AED 1: 66,800 points redeem for AED 200 of instant cashback. FAB's examples use the same rate for gift cards and payment at FAB card terminals, so 100,000 points are worth AED 299. ## How it works Each FAB card sets its own earn rate per AED, from 1 point on FAB Z to 5 on FAB Elite, with higher rates in each card's bonus categories. Supermarkets, telecom, fuel, education, government, utilities, insurance, fast food and similar categories earn 0.5 points per AED on most cards. Every card has a monthly points cap, listed on its card page. Points are valid for two years from the day they are earned. FAB can also cancel points after 12 consecutive months with no earning or redemption, with at least 30 days' notice, and forfeits the balance when the card or account closes. ## Tiers - **FAB Rewards Active Credit Card** — minimum salary AED 5,000. 0.6% back in FAB Rewards, 1.5% at sports stores - **FAB Rewards Indulge Card** — minimum salary AED 5,000. 5 points per AED online, 1 on other eligible spend - **FAB Z Credit Card** — minimum salary AED 5,000. 1 point per AED on eligible retail spend - **FAB Elite Credit Card** — minimum salary AED 40,000. 5 points per AED, 20 at named luxury brands - **FAB Travel Credit Card** — minimum salary AED 20,000. 41 points per AED on flights and hotels after AED 5,000 spend the previous month, 3 on other UAE spend, none on other overseas spend - **FAB GEMS World Credit Card** — minimum salary AED 8,000. 6.5 points per AED abroad, 3.5 in the UAE ## Redemption Redeem in the Rewards section of FAB Mobile or Internet Banking. FAB's examples price cashback, gift cards and in-store payment at 334 points per AED: - **Reimburse a transaction**: offset any FAB card purchase, including Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, or a bank charge. - **Cashback**: an instant statement credit from AED 50 (16,700 points), in multiples of AED 50. - **Pay at the till**: full or part payment from AED 1 at more than 4,500 FAB card terminals, including Lulu, Alshaya, Al-Futtaim and GEMS. Supplementary cardholders can use this option too. - **Gift cards and bills**: digital vouchers, or DEWA, ADDC, AADC, SEWA, FEWA, du, Etisalat and Salik bills. Points also convert in FAB Mobile to **Emirates Skywards** (16 points per mile), **Etihad Guest** (12 points per mile) and **Shukran** (14 points per Shukran). You need membership of the destination programme.
