Qatar Airways' Avios programme, with UAE transfer routes through Emirates NBD Plus Points and Mashreq Vantage Points.

Qatar Airways Privilege Club uses Avios for Qatar Airways and oneworld award flights. For UAE residents, the practical route is usually a transfer from a supported bank-rewards balance rather than a local Qatar Airways co-branded card.

The converter uses an independent Avios benchmark, not a guaranteed Qatar Airways tariff. Check the live cash fare, Avios price, taxes and availability before transferring points, because transfers should be treated as final.

## How it works

Privilege Club members earn Avios on eligible Qatar Airways, oneworld and partner activity, then redeem them for award flights, upgrades and selected non-flight rewards. UAE bank programmes currently modelled by Kredit can transfer into Qatar Avios at issuer-published ratios.

Avios and Qpoints are different. Avios are the spendable currency; Qpoints determine membership tier and cannot be substituted for an award balance.

## Redemption

Kredit values Qatar Avios using the current independent Avios flight benchmark. It is a planning estimate, not a fixed cash value. Short-haul, long-haul, partner and premium-cabin awards can produce different results, and taxes remain payable.

Under Qatar Airways' current terms, Avios expire after 36 consecutive months without qualifying accrual or redemption activity. Confirm the rule in your account before relying on a balance for a future trip.

## Travel angle

Privilege Club is most useful to UAE travellers who connect through Doha or want access to the wider oneworld network. Compare the full itinerary and taxes with a cash fare from the UAE before moving bank points.

## When Qatar Privilege Club can make sense

### Two UAE bank-transfer routes are already modelled

Emirates NBD Plus Points and Mashreq Vantage Points can both feed a Qatar Avios balance at different published ratios.

### Avios can extend beyond Qatar Airways

Privilege Club participates in the Avios and oneworld ecosystems, which can make the balance useful across more than one airline when award space exists.

### The live booking decides the real value

The benchmark is useful for screening a redemption, but the cash fare avoided, taxes and award availability determine what your own Avios are worth.

## Frequently asked questions

### How much is a Qatar Airways Avios worth in AED?

There is no fixed AED tariff. Kredit's calculator applies the current independent Avios flight benchmark and labels it as a market estimate. Your realised value depends on the cash fare avoided, award price, taxes and availability.

### Can I transfer UAE credit-card points to Qatar Airways?

Yes, through selected bank programmes. Kredit currently models Qatar Avios routes from Emirates NBD Plus Points and Mashreq Vantage Points; confirm the live issuer ratio before transferring.

### Do Qatar Avios expire?

Under the current Privilege Club terms, Avios expire after 36 consecutive months without qualifying accrual or redemption activity. Qatar Airways also publishes paid extension and revalidation rules.

### Are Qatar Avios and Qpoints the same?

No. Avios are redeemed for rewards. Qpoints are used for Privilege Club tier qualification and have separate validity rules.
