# SHARE by Majid Al Futtaim

Source: https://kredit.ae/loyalty/share

Majid Al Futtaim's rewards programme — Carrefour, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre malls, VOX Cinemas and Ski Dubai. Not to be confused with Al-Futtaim, a separate group whose programme is Blue Rewards.

SHARE is the loyalty programme of Majid Al Futtaim, the group that operates Carrefour in the UAE along with Mall of the Emirates, the City Centre malls, VOX Cinemas, Ski Dubai and Magic Planet. Points are earned by scanning a SHARE ID at the till, and a SHARE co-branded credit card layers a much higher earn rate on top of that.

## How it works

SHARE Points are earned at Majid Al Futtaim destinations and redeemed at the same places — **10 SHARE Points = AED 1**, a flat rate that does not vary by what you redeem against. Scanning a SHARE ID alone earns a base rate; the value in a SHARE credit card is the partner rate it adds on qualifying spend.

Three UAE banks issue SHARE co-brands — Emirates NBD, First Abu Dhabi Bank and ADIB — and all of them pay their headline rate on the same network: Carrefour (in-store and online), the Majid Al Futtaim malls, and the group's leisure venues. Everything outside that network drops to a much lower base rate, which is what makes SHARE a second card rather than an everyday one. The Al-Futtaim Group stores are outside it entirely — those run on [Blue Rewards](https://kredit.ae/loyalty/blue-rewards).

## Redemption

SHARE Points convert at a flat **10 points = AED 1**, redeemable against a bill at Carrefour, VOX Cinemas and other Majid Al Futtaim partners through the SHARE app. There is no premium redemption tier to hunt for and no transfer partner to arbitrage, so unlike airline miles the headline rate is the whole story — a 6% card really does return AED 6 of Carrefour credit per AED 100 spent there.

The flip side is that the points only spend inside the network. If your grocery shopping is split across Carrefour, LuLu and Spinneys, a general cashback card paying real AED may beat a SHARE card that pays more but only at one chain.

## Travel angle

SHARE is built for a specific UAE routine: the weekly Carrefour run, a VOX ticket, and the mall the family already goes to. Because Majid Al Futtaim owns the malls as well as the supermarket, the same card earns on the anchor tenant and on the leisure spend in the same trip — which is unusual, and the main reason a SHARE card justifies a slot in the wallet even at a lower headline rate than a general cashback card.

What it does not cover is the rest of the retail landscape. Al-Futtaim Group's stores — IKEA, ACE Hardware, Marks & Spencer and Toys R Us — along with LuLu, Spinneys, Union Coop and the Emaar and Aldar malls all sit outside the network and earn only the base rate.

## Why choose SHARE

### One card covers the groceries and the mall

Majid Al Futtaim owns Carrefour, the malls it anchors, and the cinemas and leisure venues inside them. A SHARE card earns its partner rate across all of it, so a single weekend trip earns at the same rate from the supermarket till to the VOX box office.

### The rate is flat and the maths is simple

10 SHARE Points = AED 1, always. There is no premium redemption tier and no transfer partner, so a 6% headline rate is genuinely 6% of Carrefour credit — unusual honesty compared with points programmes that quote an earn rate and quietly vary the redemption value.

### Three banks issue it, so there is a tier for most salaries

ENBD, FAB and ADIB issue eight SHARE co-brands between them. The entry tiers start at AED 5,000 salary with no annual fee, and ADIB's two are Sharia-compliant — so the programme is reachable without committing to one bank.

### It is not the Al-Futtaim programme

SHARE does not cover IKEA, ACE Hardware, Marks & Spencer or Toys R Us. Those are Al-Futtaim Group brands and earn through Blue Rewards on a FAB Blue card. Holding a SHARE card and shopping at IKEA earns only the card's ordinary base rate.

## Frequently asked questions

### How much is a SHARE Point worth in AED?

10 SHARE Points = AED 1, a flat rate across every redemption. Unlike airline miles there is no high-value redemption to chase, so a card's headline earn rate translates directly into value at Carrefour and the Majid Al Futtaim malls.

### Does a SHARE card earn at IKEA?

Not at the SHARE rate. IKEA UAE is operated by Al-Futtaim Group, a different company from Majid Al Futtaim, and it is not a SHARE partner. A SHARE card earns only its ordinary base rate on an IKEA purchase. For IKEA, ACE Hardware, Marks & Spencer and Toys R Us, see [Blue Rewards](https://kredit.ae/loyalty/blue-rewards) and the [best cards for IKEA](https://kredit.ae/credit-cards/ikea).

### Where can I earn and redeem SHARE Points?

Carrefour in-store and online, Mall of the Emirates, the City Centre malls, My City Centre and Matajer, plus VOX Cinemas, Ski Dubai, Magic Planet, Little Explorers and iFly. Majid Al Futtaim also operates lifestyle brands including LEGO, Crate and Barrel, lululemon and THAT.

### Which SHARE credit card has the highest earn rate?

ENBD SHARE Infinite and FAB SHARE Infinite both pay 8% back in SHARE Points on the partner network. FAB's version starts at AED 25,000 salary against ENBD's AED 30,000, so it is reachable slightly earlier; both carry an annual fee.

### Is there a free SHARE credit card?

Yes. ENBD SHARE Platinum and FAB SHARE Platinum are both free for life and pay 4% on the partner network from AED 5,000 salary, and ENBD SHARE Signature is also free at 6% from AED 12,000.

### Should I use a SHARE card for everyday spending?

Usually not. The headline rate only applies inside the Majid Al Futtaim network; everything else drops to a much lower base rate. SHARE works best as a second card paired with a general cashback card for spend outside Carrefour and the malls.
