Good to know

Package classification

ADIB assesses the previous five monthly account averages and reclassifies One, Premium and Elite relationships in June and December. The resulting monthly charge applies for the next six months.

Business Connect access

The online application is for eligible UAE-registered, single-layer companies. Identity verification or a later visit to a business centre may be required.

Changing to Connect

Moving from One, Premium or Elite to Connect requires no branch transactions and at least ten online transactions monthly for the previous five months. Elite also has a balance condition; Connect may move to Elite when its average exceeds AED 750,000.

Teller allowance

Cash and cheque deposits, withdrawals and local or international teller transfers share each package's monthly allowance. Additional transactions have separate charges.

Unpaid package fees

Five consecutive months of unpaid Business Connect monthly charges may lead to account closure.

Cheque returns

Four returned cheques within 12 months may result in account closure and adverse credit-agency reporting.

Cooling off

The key facts offer five business days to withdraw an application, but accepting the account form and terms waives that period; applicable charges may then start at opening.

Transfer costs

For international transfers, correspondent-bank charges may be added to the ADIB tariff. OUR, SHA and BEN allocate charges differently.
