Opening and balance

Applicants must be UAE-incorporated and hold a valid trade licence. The below-balance charge starts in month four, excluding the opening month and the next two months.

Cash handling

The monthly percentage charge applies to combined teller and cash-deposit-machine deposits and withdrawals, in addition to per-teller transaction fees.

Card choices

Visa Business Platinum has no annual card charge; Signature has a separate annual fee. The published daily spending and online sublimits differ by card and can be changed in HBZweb.

Account documents

The business opening checklist varies by LLC, sole proprietor, partnership, free-zone or company-under-formation status; signatory authority and beneficial-owner information are required where applicable.

Transfer costs

The bank lists sender-side and correspondent charges separately from the manual or HBZweb outward transfer fee.
