Business opening

The UAE business application asks for the trade licence, formation type, authorised signatories, beneficial ownership and account mandate. Requirements depend on the entity.

Balance threshold

The schedule states a monthly fee when the minimum average balance is breached, but does not print that threshold. Confirm the required balance for the chosen account with MCB UAE.

Cheque-book delivery

The first cheque book is free before courier cost. For later books, the schedule prints AED 1.25 per leaf and a separate courier entry written ‘AED .25 fils’; its courier unit is unclear.

Term deposits

Early encashment follows the prevailing fixed-deposit rate, not a published fixed charge. The deposit minimum is separate from account fees.

Additional charges

The UAE schedule allows other statutory costs and charges for services it does not list. Charges unrecovered for lack of funds may be collected when funds become available.
