The FAB Islamic Term Deposit Mudarabah is a Sharia-compliant term deposit in UAE dirhams. You place at least AED 10,000 for a set period of 1 to 12 months and receive your profit when the period ends.

Mudarabah is a profit-sharing partnership. You supply the capital, the bank manages it by investing it alongside other pooled funds, and the profit is shared between you at a ratio agreed at the start. There is no rate fixed in advance. That is the main difference from the FAB Islamic Term Deposit Wakalah, which works to an agreed anticipated rate but needs AED 500,000. UAE nationals and residents of any age can open one.
