American Express Credit Cards

The American Express Platinum Credit Card is the Amex card currently verified on Kredit for the UAE. It is a Membership Rewards points card with Priority Pass lounge access, monthly dining cashback and a monthly grocery credit.

AED 21,250 a month, and the minimum age is 21. Both are the issuer's stated eligibility criteria for the Platinum Credit Card.

There is no joining fee. The annual membership fee is AED 735, waived when you spend AED 40,000 or more in a card year. Supplementary cards are complimentary.

Twelve complimentary Priority Pass visits a year for the primary cardmember, plus eight for one enrolled supplementary cardmember.

You earn 2 Membership Rewards points for every AED 4 spent, on all spend. Points do not expire while the card is active and can be transferred to Amex airline and hotel partners.

After enrolment and AED 4,000 of total monthly spend: 10% cashback on eligible dining up to AED 50 a month, and an AED 75 grocery statement credit which also requires AED 1,000 of eligible grocery spend.
