You need a minimum salary of AED 12,000 per month, must be at least 21 years old, and must be a UAE resident. Emirates NBD may also request Emirates ID, a passport copy, a salary certificate or bank statements, and a security cheque as part of the application.

Instead of a fixed benefits package, you pick 6 travel, lifestyle and entertainment benefits through the Visa portal, including things like airport lounge access, Careem credits, dining offers and cinema. Once you've made your selection, it can only be changed after 12 months, so choose based on how you actually spend.

General retail spend earns 1.5 Plus Points per AED 100; groceries, insurance and car dealers earn 0.4, while fuel, utilities, real estate and education earn 0.2. The cap is 2,000 Plus Points per statement.

This card includes the Bon Appétit dining programme, which gets you up to 30% off at 2,000+ restaurants. It's listed alongside VOX Cinemas offers, purchase insurance and easy monthly instalment plans as one of the card's benefit offerings.
