ADIB Student Savings Account is a zero-balance Mudaraba savings account for UAE-resident students aged 13 and over, linked to a free ISIC prepaid card.
ADIB Student Savings Account, which the bank also calls the Youth Account, is a savings account for students who live in the UAE and are 13 or older. You prove you are a student with a valid school ID or similar document. The account is linked to an International Student Identity Card (ISIC), a prepaid card that is free, is valid internationally and carries student offers. You load money onto the card from your ADIB account, at a branch or at an ADIB cash and cheque deposit machine, then use what is on it. The account can sit at zero with no fall-below fee. It follows the terms of the ADIB Savings Account and shares profit under Mudaraba.

A valid school ID copy or any other proof of being a student.
A student account with nothing in it costs nothing: there is no minimum balance and no fall-below fee. The one account-level charge to plan around is the AED 105 closure fee, which applies only if the account is closed within 6 months of opening. Using ADIB's own ATMs and services for withdrawals, deposits, balance checks and transfers between ADIB accounts is free. Other banks' ATMs in the UAE charge for each withdrawal or balance check.

Profit is calculated monthly and paid quarterly.
The bank invests your balance under Mudaraba and shares the profit it achieves with you. On this account profit is worked out every month and paid into the account once a quarter. That is a slower rhythm than the main ADIB Savings Account, which pays monthly, so do not expect a credit at the start of each month.

School and university students in the UAE who want a first savings account with no balance to maintain and a prepaid card that doubles as international student ID.
You are not a student, or you are a parent saving for a child under 13. ADIB Banoon covers younger children.
A student under 18 applies with a legal guardian or custodian, whose Emirates ID and passport copy are used for the application. Account notifications such as one-time passwords then go to the mobile number and email the guardian gave. A student over 18 applies with their own passport and Emirates ID. Everyone provides proof of student status and one passport-size photograph.
