ADIB Savings Account is a Mudaraba savings account that pays profit monthly on balances of AED 5,000 or more, with a debit card and open access.
ADIB Savings Account is where you keep money you want to grow while still being able to reach it. You can withdraw whenever you need, and the account comes with a Visa debit card. It is an investment account under Mudaraba: the bank invests your balance alongside other savers' money and shares whatever profit is achieved with you. UAE nationals, residents and non-residents can all open one, and there is no salary requirement. It has no cheque book, so cheque payments belong in the ADIB Current Account. If you like the idea of prize draws on top of the same profit rates, look at the ADIB Ghina Savings Account.

Two different balance levels matter here, and they do different jobs. AED 3,000 is the level that keeps the account free: when any day's closing balance in a month is lower, ADIB charges AED 26.25 for that month. AED 5,000 is the level at which profit starts. The fee is not charged in your opening month, and it begins in month two, or month three for accounts opened after the 20th. It is also not charged on an account that pays an active ADIB auto, personal or home finance instalment or receives a pension. Leaving within 6 months of opening costs AED 105.

Profit comes from a Mudaraba arrangement: you hand your savings to the bank to invest, and any profit made is split between you and the bank in agreed shares. The rate is declared after each month ends, based on what was achieved. A balance under AED 5,000 earns nothing for that month. Profit is paid into the account on the first day of the following month. If you close the account partway through a month, you do not receive profit for that month.
