School and university fees earn the 2% other-retail rate, the same as any eligible non-category spend. Where the four tiers do differ is the 10% on groceries, dining and fuel, and the monthly ceiling that caps it: AED 5,000 on World Elite, AED 3,500 on World, AED 2,500 on Platinum and AED 1,500 on Titanium.

Mawarid publishes three bonus categories — grocery, dining and fuel — and pays 2% on all other eligible local and international retail. Education is not one of the bonus categories, and it is not on the excluded list either, so school and university fees earn that 2%.
Titanium and Platinum carry no annual fee at all. World and World Elite charge AED 525 and AED 1,050, each waived once yearly spend reaches AED 30,000 and AED 50,000 — below those thresholds the fee has to be earned back before the cashback counts as gain.
Every tier pays the same 10% and 2%. What changes is how much you keep each month: AED 1,500 on Titanium, AED 2,500 on Platinum, AED 3,500 on World and AED 5,000 on World Elite, each inclusive of the category cashback rather than sitting on top of it.
