MCC 7999: Recreation Services (Not Elsewhere Classified)

MCC 7999 classifies merchants recorded as recreation services (not elsewhere classified). It describes the business accepting the payment, not the exact item you bought.

Most banks show a spending category in the app or statement instead of the four-digit MCC. Use that category to narrow down likely codes, then ask the issuer for the exact code on the posted transaction if you need to confirm it.
