The ADCB Islamic Super Saver is a Sharia-compliant savings account for existing customers, with two layers of expected profit. The base layer is paid on what you keep in the account. The bonus layer is paid only on money you bring in from outside ADCB. You open it in the mobile app or Personal Internet Banking, fund it by transfer, and hold it in your own name. There is no debit card. Where the ADCB Islamic Active Saver follows your daily balance, the Super Saver uses your average balance across the month, so it rewards money that stays put.

Fees and balance

The Super Saver is not charged for separately. ADCB Islamic Banking's relationship fee applies to you once, as a customer. A holder with the AED 50,000 needed for the main rate is already above the AED 20,000 total relationship balance at which the fee is zero. Below that, a salary of AED 15,000 or more credited directly removes it, as does a smaller salary held with a credit card or finance from ADCB Islamic Banking. If you qualify on none of these, the fee is AED 25 a month with a smaller salary transfer and AED 100 a month without. A closure made between 30 days and six months from opening costs AED 105.

Fee levels
The monthly fee has more than one level. The condition you meet decides which one applies, and you pay that one level only, never the levels added together. More on this
Account closure fee
A one-off charge of AED 105 for closing the account within 6 months of opening it. Closing it later costs nothing. Closing within the first 30 days carries no charge either. More on this

Profit

The bonus applies only to fresh funds transferred from outside ADCB above the March 2026 benchmark, with a monthly average balance from AED 50,000 to AED 20 million. Internal ADCB transfers do not qualify.

In plain words

Profit rate
An Islamic account does not pay interest. It pays you a share of what the bank earns on your money. The profit rate is that share as a yearly percentage of your balance. More on this
Balance bands
The rate changes with how much you hold. Each band is a range of balance with its own rate. More on this
Which balance counts
The return is worked out on your average balance across the month, so money held for only part of the month counts in proportion. More on this
New funds
Money you add on top of what you already held with the bank. A rate marked for new funds is paid on that added amount only, not on your existing balance. More on this
Bonus rate
A rate paid on top of the account's standard rate when you meet its condition. The two are added together for the profit you earn. More on this
