Best Credit Cards for Fuel and Petrol Stations in the UAE 2026
UAE fuel prices jumped sharply in 2026. Special 95 petrol went from AED 2.48 per litre in March to AED 3.28 in April — a rise of over 30% in a single month — driven by the Middle East conflict and Strait of Hormuz disruption. By May 2026 it climbed further to AED 3.55 per litre. For a resident filling up a mid-size SUV three times a month, that is now AED 750–1,000 in fuel spend per month, up from around AED 550–650 just two months prior.
Most people still pay at the pump without earning anything back. The right credit card changes that materially — a 10% cashback card on AED 900/month fuel spend returns AED 90 every month, or over AED 1,000 a year.
This guide covers the top UAE credit cards for fuel spending in 2026, how their cashback rates compare, and what conditions to watch for before choosing one. You can also compare all fuel cashback cards on Kredit or use the calculator to see what each card pays back on your actual monthly spend.
UAE Fuel Station Networks
The two main fuel networks in the UAE are ADNOC (the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, the dominant network across Abu Dhabi and most of the UAE) and ENOC/EPPCO (Emirates National Oil Company, primarily in Dubai). Some credit cards earn at a higher rate specifically at ADNOC stations; others earn the same rate everywhere.
Top Credit Cards for Fuel in the UAE
Emirates Islamic RTA Credit Card
The Emirates Islamic RTA Credit Card offers 10% cashback on fuel at any petrol station in the UAE — the highest fuel rate on a free card. It also earns 10% on RTA transport payments (metro, bus), 2.25% on all other retail, and 0.3% on government, utilities, and education. No annual fee. Minimum salary AED 5,000.
Note two conditions: a minimum spend of AED 1,000 per month is required to earn any cashback (effective March 2025), and the fuel cashback is capped at AED 75 per month. This card works at any UAE petrol station, not just ADNOC.
- Fuel cashback: 10% — cap AED 75/month — requires AED 1,000/month total spend
- Annual fee: Free
- Minimum salary: AED 5,000

Emirates Islamic Switch Cashback Credit Card
The Emirates Islamic Switch Cashback Credit Card earns 8% cashback on domestic fuel in Lifestyle mode — the highest rate of any UAE credit card for fuel. The catch: fuel cashback is only available when the card is set to Lifestyle mode (not Travel mode) via the EI+ app, the cap is AED 100 per month, and a minimum spend of AED 2,500 per month is required to earn any accelerated rate. The card fee is AED 313.95/year, waived in year one and waived in subsequent years with AED 30,000 annual spend.
If you spend around AED 1,250 per month on fuel, the AED 100 cap is hit quickly — making this card better for drivers who reach the cap and also spend on dining and supermarkets (which also earn 4% in Lifestyle mode).
- Fuel cashback: 8% (Lifestyle mode only) — cap AED 100/month
- Min spend to unlock: AED 2,500/month total
- Annual fee: AED 313.95 (first year free, waived with AED 30K annual spend)
- Minimum salary: AED 5,000

Beyond fuel, it earns 3% back on Salik, DARB, and Mawaqif parking; 2% on international spending; and 1% on other UAE retail (each with their own caps and minimum spend conditions). The welcome bonus is 300,000 ADNOC points (worth AED 300) credited after paying the annual fee. It also includes ADNOC Gold Membership in year one (50% off coffee and bakery at ADNOC Oasis, 35% off carwash vouchers) and airport lounge access via Mastercard Travel Pass.
This card is open to all UAE residents — not just ADNOC employees. The employee-only variant is the FAB ADNOC Cashback Credit Card, which also earns 15% but as direct cashback rather than points. Browse all ADNOC credit cards on Kredit.

How to Choose
If you fill up primarily at ADNOC stations: The FAB ADNOC Rewards Card gives the highest ADNOC-specific rate at 15%, plus Salik and parking rewards. Requires AED 3,000/month total spend and AED 315/year fee.
If you want the highest free-card rate at any station: The Emirates Islamic RTA Card gives 10% on fuel with no annual fee (cap AED 75/month, requires AED 1,000/month spend).
If you want the highest absolute rate (and hit the cap quickly): The Emirates Islamic Switch Card in Lifestyle mode earns 8%, but the AED 100/month cap limits the value at higher spend levels.
If you prefer flexible fuel + everyday cashback at any station: The Dubai First Cashback Card (5%, any station, instant cashback) or HSBC Live+ (5%, AED 200 cap, higher for dining spenders).
If you need a Sharia-compliant card: ADIB Cashback Covered (4%, AED 300 cap, AED 99/year, no min spend) or DIB Consumer Cashback Platinum (4%, requires AED 4,000 monthly spend, min salary AED 15,000).
If you have no minimum salary requirement: The Tabby Card is the only option here with no minimum salary, earning 5% when fuel is selected.
