The Citi Cash Back Credit Card is a Mastercard that earns unlimited cashback on everyday spend: 3% on non-AED (international) purchases, 2% on groceries and supermarkets, and 1% on everything else, all with no maximum cap. It requires an AED 8,000 minimum salary and is free for the first year.

You earn 3% cashback on all non-AED purchases (spending abroad or in foreign currency online), 2% on grocery and supermarket spend, and 1% on all other purchases. All three rates are unlimited — there is no monthly or annual cashback cap. Cashback is credited to your card account.

The joining fee is free and the annual fee is waived for the first year. From the second year it is AED 315, but that fee is waived automatically if you spend at least AED 9,000 on the card during the year.

The minimum salary is AED 8,000 per month. You also need to be at least 21 years old and a UAE resident. Final approval is subject to Citi's underwriting and AECB credit checks.

Yes. The card includes up to 8 Mastercard Travel Pass lounge visits per year after the qualifying non-AED transaction, plus 1 complimentary Careem airport ride per year.

The foreign currency transaction fee is 2.99%. Because non-AED spend earns 3% cashback, the cashback broadly offsets the FX fee on international purchases. The monthly retail interest rate is 3.5%.
