Both cards earn the same Amazon Rewards rates (up to 6% on Amazon.ae, up to 2.5% international, up to 2% domestic for Prime members). The Platinum card has a lower minimum salary of AED 5,000 and offers up to 4 airport lounge visits per year, while the World card requires AED 15,000 salary and offers 8 lounge visits plus additional lifestyle perks such as golf, valet parking and Careem airport rides.

You must have an Amazon.ae account and meet the following criteria:

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Monthly income of at least AED 5,000
• UAE residency
• Active UAE mobile number
• Valid Emirates ID
• Active UAE bank account
• Meet Emirates Islamic Bank's and Central Bank of UAE's policy requirements

Prime members earn up to 6% back on Amazon.ae purchases, while non-Prime members earn up to 3% back. Your reward rates automatically adjust when your Prime membership status changes - increasing when you become a Prime member or decreasing if your membership expires or is cancelled.

Prime members earn up to 6% back on Amazon.ae purchases, up to 2.5% on international transactions (excluding UK and EEA), and up to 2% on domestic UAE purchases outside Amazon. Non-Prime members earn up to 3% on Amazon.ae and up to 1% on international and domestic purchases. Categories like government, utilities, grocery, fuel, education, insurance and real estate earn 0.25%. Each point = 1 AED, redeemable at Amazon.ae checkout. Points aren't earned on balance transfers, cash withdrawals, wire transfers, currency purchases, or returned/refunded transactions.

The annual membership fee is AED 0, but other charges still apply. The card carries a monthly profit rate of 3.69% (44.28% per annum), a minimum monthly payment of 5% of your outstanding balance, and a cash advance fee of 3.15% or AED 103.95, whichever is higher. International transactions in non-AED currencies cost 2.34%, while foreign-currency transactions settled in AED abroad cost 1.99%. Missed payments trigger an AED 131.25 charitable donation, per Shariah requirements.

Cardholders get up to 4 complimentary airport lounge visits per year across 20+ regional and international DragonPass lounges, accessed via the Mastercard Travel Pass app. Your first visit each year is free; after that, you need an international purchase of at least USD 1 within 3 months to unlock further complimentary access. Guests can join you for USD 32 per visit.
