Reduced categories such as government services, bill payments, education, transport, telecom, real estate and petrol earn 0.25% after the same AED 1,000 threshold. You need to be at least 21 years old with a minimum monthly salary of AED 5,000. Self-employed applicants instead need an average quarterly account balance of AED 75,000 or quarterly credit turnover of AED 150,000. A security cheque for the value of the card limit is required.

Existing Rakbank customers without a Rakbank credit card who apply through its app between 31 Aug and 15 Nov 2026 and spend AED 3,000 within 60 days of issuance can qualify. Self-employed customers and bank staff are excluded. The AED 300 cashback is credited within 90 business days after the promotion ends.

Cash transactions, RAKMoneyTransfer transfers, and anything put through a Rakbank banking channel — phone banking, internet and mobile banking, cash deposit machines, ATMs or branches — earn no cashback.

Cashback is valid for 15 months from the date it is earned and is forfeited if it has not been redeemed by then. The minimum amount you can redeem is AED 100.

Cash advances are permitted up to 80% of the card limit. Balance transfers are permitted up to 95% of the available balance.
