What UAE points and miles are worth

It is the AED value of one point or mile under the redemption method named on the card. Multiply it by your balance to estimate that balance's value. For example, a rate of AED 0.0441 makes 10,000 miles worth AED 441.

Issuer-fixed means the programme publishes the AED redemption rate. Issuer-derived combines a published transfer ratio with the destination programme's value. A market estimate reflects the value commonly available from useful flight or hotel redemptions rather than a fixed cash rate.

Kredit reviews the valuation set when its source benchmarks or issuer redemption rates change. The review date above the index shows when the current set was last checked.

Subtract taxes and fees payable on the award from the cash fare you would otherwise buy, then divide the remaining AED saving by the number of points or miles required. Compare that result with the benchmark on this page.

A transfer ratio can reduce the number of destination miles you receive. Compare the issuer's direct redemption with the destination programme estimate before moving points, and confirm award availability first.

Find the exact award and confirm its points price and availability first. Transfers are commonly irreversible, and the destination programme can change the price or availability before unused miles are redeemed.

The public reward-rates dataset contains each programme, redemption method, AED rate, value basis, source and review date used by Kredit's calculators.
