Citi Premier Credit Card

The Citi Premier Card earns Citi ThankYou Points: 3 per USD on dining, fuel and grocery spend in AED, 2 per USD on other non-AED spend, and 1 per USD on other AED spend. Points are calculated on the USD equivalent of your spend, converted at 1 AED = 0.271 USD.

New Citi customers who apply directly on citibank.ae and spend AED 10,000 within 60 days of card issuance receive an AED 750 statement credit. Applications through third-party or affiliate links are not eligible for this offer.

The Citi Premier Card charges a recurring Annual Membership Fee of AED 787.50 (including VAT), billed every year from account opening.

Applicants need a minimum monthly income of AED 15,000, must be at least 18 years old, and must be a UAE national or resident. A valid Emirates ID, passport and UAE visa copy are required.

Cardholders get 14 complimentary airport lounge visits a year across 1,200+ lounges worldwide via Mastercard Travel Pass, plus 3 fast-track airport passes a year through the same programme. There are also 4 complimentary Careem airport rides per year (up to AED 84 each, via promo code MAUAE6) and one free Marhaba Bronze Meet & Greet a year at Dubai International Airport.

The monthly finance rate on retail and cash is 3.69% (44.28% annually). Cash advances cost 3% of the amount or AED 99 (whichever is higher), capped at AED 250, and foreign currency transactions carry a 2.99% processing margin. Late payments are charged AED 230, and going over your limit costs AED 249 or the highest over-limit amount assessed that period, whichever is lower.
