Mashreq Aura World Elite Credit Card

The annual fee is AED 1,575. A supplementary card is AED 630 a year.

Only at participating Aura brands, such as H&M, Bath & Body Works, American Eagle, Shake Shack and The Cheesecake Factory. Points cannot be taken as cash, and they expire 12 months after they are credited.

The card pays 8% as Aura Points on spend at participating Aura brands. Aura adds tier cashback on top, set by your Aura tier; the Aura hub lists the tier rates. Starbucks earns the card rate only.

New Mashreq credit card customers receive AED 2,500 as Aura Points after spending AED 15,000 in the first two months after issuance. Anyone who held a Mashreq credit card in the previous six months receives a smaller bonus. The bonus is credited by the end of the third month.

Government payments, utilities, education, charity, fuel, rental, telecom and transport, including taxis, tolls and parking. Cash advances, balance transfers, Easy Cash and fees earn nothing.

Retail interest is 46.2% a year. Non-AED spend and AED spend abroad carry a 2.89% spread. Late payment is AED 241.50, over-limit AED 303.45, and cash advances cost 3.15% of the amount, subject to a minimum charge.
