Credit Cards Without Bank Statement in the UAE

Credit Cards Without Bank Statement in the UAE

Most UAE credit cards ask for three months of bank statements.

Last updated: October 25, 2026

The issuers that publish a document list state them explicitly. The exception is an issuer that already holds your salary record: an app-first bank reads its own history rather than a document you upload, so there is no statement to produce. The AECB check and the affordability assessment are unaffected either way.

Why choose Credit Cards Without Bank Statement in the UAE

1.

App-first cards see your salary transfers internally

An app-first bank opens your account in its own app and keeps the salary history there, so it reads the credits directly instead of asking you to upload three to six months of statements. This works when your salary is paid into that account.

2.

Salary transfer to the issuing bank usually helps

If your salary is already paid into the bank you're applying to, the bank has all the data it needs from its own system. Apply with the same bank where your salary is paid and ask if statements can be waived.

3.

Paperwork can vary; credit checks do not

A bank may waive a paper statement when it can verify income through its own records. That does not waive identity verification, affordability assessment, or the credit-bureau check, and it does not guarantee approval.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Credit Cards Without Bank Statement in the UAE

Yes, if you bank with an app-first issuer or apply at the bank where your salary is already paid. These banks use in-app salary transfer history as the income proof, replacing the standard 3-6 months of paper bank statements. Emirates ID, residence visa, and usually a salary certificate are still required.

A salary certificate is a letter from your employer confirming your monthly salary and employment status (usually on company letterhead). A bank statement is the transaction history of your bank account showing salary deposits. UAE banks typically want both — but app-first banks can substitute internal salary transfer data for the bank statement.

An app-first issuer is the straightforward case: onboarding happens in the bank's own app, and the salary history in that account is the income proof. Applying at the bank your salary is already paid into works on the same principle — the bank reads its own records. Ask before applying; a bank that cannot see your salary internally will ask for statements.

Requirements vary by bank and applicant. A bank may use salary credits visible in an account you hold with it instead of asking you to upload a statement. If that is not available, ask whether a credit card secured against a fixed deposit is offered. Either route still requires the bank's checks and approval.

No. A bank must verify identity, income, affordability, and creditworthiness before granting credit. It may obtain some information from its own records rather than asking you to upload a paper document, but the credit-bureau assessment and bank underwriting still apply.
