Mashreq Platinum Plus Credit Card

The primary card annual fee is AED 299 plus 5% VAT, or AED 313.95 inclusive of VAT.

The card includes four complimentary visits per calendar year after at least AED 7,000 of eligible purchases in the previous statement month.

New Mashreq credit card customers receive AED 750, while existing Mashreq cardholders receive AED 200, once they spend AED 5,000 within the first two months after the card is issued. The bonus tier depends on whether you're new to Mashreq credit cards or already hold one.

You earn 10 Vantage points per AED on supermarket, fuel and dining purchases, 2 points per AED on international transactions and other local spend, and just 0.5 points per AED on local government, utilities, education, charity, rent and telecom bills. The rate drops sharply once you move outside the three bonus categories.

There are two separate cinema perks: 50% off up to four tickets per billing month at VOX, Reel and Novo Cinemas, and up to eight complimentary Cinépolis tickets per billing month, running through 31 December 2026. The Cinépolis tickets require at least AED 7,000 of eligible spend in the previous statement month, the same threshold used for lounge access.

Applicants need a minimum monthly salary of AED 5,000 and must be at least 21 years old. There's no minimum credit limit requirement, and the card's joining fee is free.
