FAB Cashback Credit Card

There is no joining fee. The annual fee is AED 315, and the current KFS lists a retail finance charge of up to 3.99% monthly. Paying the statement in full by the due date avoids retail finance charges.

FAB requires a minimum monthly salary of AED 5,000, and the card is only available to applicants above the age of 21.

Eligible AED supermarket, apparel and restaurant spend earns 5% up to AED 150 per category monthly. FAB requires AED 3,000 card spend in the previous calendar month before any cashback is earned; there is no AED 1,000 current-month gate.

International (non-AED) purchases earn 3% cashback, and all other eligible retail spending earns 1%. Both rates count toward a combined global cashback cap of AED 1,000 per month across every category, so total monthly cashback payout is limited by that ceiling rather than by separate per-category caps. Note there's also a 2.61% international transaction fee on non-AED purchases, plus the card network's scheme charge, which offsets some of that 3% return.

Mastercard Travel Pass provides up to eight cardholder lounge visits plus six guest visits yearly after a qualifying USD 1 purchase. The card offers four AED 20 cinema tickets monthly after AED 3,000 card spend, and one Careem airport transfer.

FAB's card terms pay 0.15% on named reduced categories, including fuel, utilities, education, government, insurance and fast food. Quasi-cash transactions do not earn cashback.
